Our School

In 1999, a group of parents decided that the Vallejo community needed more educational choices that would provide a high-quality education using technology.  As a result, the first charter for a 6-8 school called Mare Island Technology Academy was written and then authorized by Vallejo City Unified School District.  Three years later, the MIT Academy charter was authorized for grades 9 - 12.  The MIT staff is committed to providing each student with a comprehensive education and the support needed to be college and career ready.

School Colors/Mascot

MIT school colors are Navy Blue, Silver, and White.
