MITA (MS and HS): Title I Parent Survey and SSC - Time Sensitive. Please Read.

Dear MITA Parents and Guardians,
As we furiously wrap up the 2026-2027 school year, we have also been planning for the next school year. To close the year and set us up for success next year, the School Site Council will have its final meeting on Thursday, June 4, 2026.
The SSC will continue its LCAP and budget discussion. To support the council in making informed, data-driven decisions that reflect our community's voice, we ask that all parents complete the Title I Parent Engagement Survey in addition to the annual LCAP survey. Before COVID-19, MITA had a strong parent engagement program. We would like to rebuild our parent engagement program to positively impact student achievement and school culture. Because MITA has more than 40% of its students who qualify for Title I funds, the school can utilize the funds to enhance its schoolwide educational program. As a Title I funding recipient, our school is required to jointly develop and evaluate our parent and engagement policy and school-parent compact. Before you open the survey link below, please take a moment to review the attached Title I Parent and Family Engagement Policy and the Parent Compact. The School Site Council greatly appreciates your input and feedback by completing the following brief survey:
MITA Title I Parent and Family Engagement Survey
The Title I Parent and Family Engagement Survey will close on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 11:59 P.M. We would greatly appreciate your attention to it immediately.
This is also a last call for the LCAP survey if you have not already done so. Please select the appropriate survey based on whether your student is in middle or high school. If you have children at both schools, please do both surveys. The survey will close at 11:59 PM tonight.
