MIT MS & HS: Griffin Day (TU, 8/4/26)

Dear MIT Middle and High School Scholars and Families,

We look forward to seeing you at Griffin Day. All families were mailed a packet last week. You should have received it from USPS on Thursday. If you did not receive the packet, it is attached as a PDF. You may also come to the MIT Main Office in H2 to pick up the packet. We appreciate you coming to Griffin Day with all forms completed.

To help minimize your wait time, please arrive during your designated, staggered grade-level time slot. We encourage siblings to attend together during the same time slot. 

• Grades 6 - 8: 12:00 - 2:00 PM

• Grades 9 & 10: 2:00 - 3:30 PM

• Grades 11 & 12: 3:30 - 5:00 PM

• All Grades: 5:00 - 7:00 PM

You will pick up a passport and picture card at the first station. Once you’ve completed all stations, you will turn in the passport in exchange for 1 free logo-embroidered polo top and 1 free logo patch. Additional polos may be purchased on sale for $15 (regular price: $20). Zip-up hoodies are on sale for $30 (regular price: $40). To pick up a Chromebook, you must turn in a completed Technology and Acceptable Use Policy form.

Please do your best to attend Griffin Day. We would like all students to have a picture ID card as early as possible. It will help us to serve breakfast and lunch more efficiently. Additionally, you can take your picture in your clothes of choice on this day instead of dress code. As requested by Jostens, please do not wear green.

Lastly, we encourage families to bring/donate gently used and washed dress code clothing. Families are welcome to swap or take any items they need. Thank you for recycling to keep our planet green!
